About

I work on the nature and the metaphysical status of phenomenal consciousness, focusing on non-reductive theories of consciousness, including Russellian monism, as well as on the phenomenon of inner awareness (‘for-me-ness’).

I work as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Analytic Philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences.

In addition, I am a Visiting Research Fellow in Philosophy at University of Hertfordshire, School of Humanities (UK) and an External Lecturer (Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies) at Charles University, Faculty of Philosophy.

In 2022/23, I was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the NYU Center For Mind, Brain and Consciousness, with Prof. David Chalmers as my faculty sponsor.

From September 2019 to August 2021, I carried out research on “The Consciousness & Matter Project” at University of Hertfordshire (UK), under the guidance of Dr. Sam Coleman.
